KRISZTIAN HOW OLD R U?

KRISZTZAN ZANA - photographer

how is your bed? and your cradle when you were baby? I'm very bad with beds. I'm always sleeping on one which is given or accessible. I never really had a cradle when I was kid, probably that's the reason why I don't pay much attention on beds. It is a funny story: my first bed was inherited from my parents: They cut their double bed into half and a half was given to me, the other half was placed in our weekend house.

which kind of meal you do not like? which is your favourite dish that your mom prepare to you? I'm a big fan of international cuisine! I love to try out new dishes. My favorite is s scrambled eggs with a sliced frankfurter, topped with paprika. But my taste always change periodically as far as I remember.

your favorite book to read? I am a big fan of comic books

have you got an imaginary friend? Not really, but I always wished to have one, especially because I'm a single child

which photo did you see first? I am growing up on amateur family pictures, I have just realized what photography means for real. The first photograph I saw is a beauty poster on the wall at my father's hair saloon.

SIMONE HOW OLD R U?

which kind of meal you do not like? which is your favourite dish that your mom prepare to you? I do not like chick peas with codfish. I love meat with mashed potatos, I am able to create amazing castles in my dish with smashed potatos and the pieces of meats are doors, windows and bridges.

your favorite book to read? Il barone inesistente by Italo Calvino, I made all the drawings!

have you got an imaginary friend? No.

What do you want to do when you grew up? I will be a "madonnaro"! the sidewalk painter!

JOHANN HOW OLD R U?

JOHANN Kalon Studios, designer

How was your cot – and bed as a child? I slept in a simple all wood crib with round dowels.  It had one height, was small and unobtrusive.  Probably like many of the simple all wood cribs still available today. My bed is a mattress on the floor and later a metal framed bunk bed.

Which is your favorite dish your mum used to cook for you? What meal don’t you like at all? I love milk rice with cinnamon and sugar. My family are hunters which periodically disturb me so I don't eat fowl for a while as I tell them that birds are my friends.  I also make the duck hunt exceedingly difficult for whoever I am accompanying.  I remember my grandfathers friend saying to him that he would never have me along again as he couldn't fire a single shot.  I now eat fowl.

What was your favorite book? I liked Max und Moritz.

Did you have an imaginary friend? No imaginary friends, just imagination.

MELISSA HOW OLD R U?

MELISSA PANARELLO - writer

how is your bed? and your cot when you were baby? I had no cot because my mom liked sleep with me between her and my dad. Now I have a bigger salmon pink bamboo bed but I do not use it so much, I continue to go to my parent's bed to sleep with them as always!

which kind of meal you do not like? which is your favourite dish that your mom prepare to you? I like sweet-and-sour rabbit and broccoli pasta. I do not like jam croissants and fried potatos, I prefer to have for my breakfast just a carrot. My mum is very angry fro this, she would like I would eat sugars in the morning.

your favorite book to read? Gods and heroes from greek mythology. There are many pictures and all the stories abouts the gods. I like also "Jesus in the hearth", a gift from priest Pasqualino.

have you got an imaginary friend? yes, her name is Rita. She is 14 years old and she looks like S.Rita, exactly. She has a nail dug in the forehead and a black veil on the head. She is very quite, it's only me speaking.

What do you want to do when you grew up? A poet or a nun.

What did you write first? It is strange but I remember it because my haunt had preserved it until now "I do not want to sleep because there is no love to warm up my heart"

ROCIO HOW OLD R U?

MIRALDA HOW OLD R U?

MIRALDA COLOMBO - journalist and food blogger/il cucchiaino di alice How was your cot – and bed as a child? I had a classic rocking cradle, I think so by my baby pictures… Pastel colors wood, bedding, carousel. Since the beginning my bed has been for a bigger child with a winter blanket printed in the middle with a saint bernard dog. I love to go under it inventing imaginary tales with my torch.

Which was your favorite dish your mum used to cook for you? What meal didn’t you like at all? I has been a good eater, I eat vegetables or soups. I have to say... I do not go crazy for the cabbage's world. My mom doesn't not like coocking but she often makes hand made pasta and I love helping her. Probably that's the reason why I have started to coock with Alice very soon, making pizza and coockies. For babies is a wonderful moment, magic.

What was your favorite book? I am divided among Alice in Wonderland, Pippi Longstocking and Anna with red hair. All of them have in common incredible and quirky adventures! I am a super lively child.

Did you have an imaginary friend? Sure, her name is Anna, she lives in a wood with many nymphes able during the night to become trees. Anna is also the person to whom I dedicate my diary’s pages.

What do you want to do when you grew up? I have no precise ideas about this… I dream to be able to travel through space and time (not really a job), maybe I could become a war reporter, as Oriana Fallaci or Tiziano Terzani to change the world and help people.

MICHAELE HOW OLD R U?

MICHAELE - Kalon Studios, designer How was your cot – and bed as a child? The crib is a yellow and white crib that is a hand-me-down from my mother's sister. The sides come up and down. It is a simple, standard design for the time. All cribs look alike. The bed I have is my mom’s from when she was little. It is a dark-cherry, twin-size bed with head and foot boards. I decorate the headboard with autumn leaves stuck on with toothpaste. The leaves crumbled off sort of quickly but the blue toothpaste is there forever.

Which was your favorite dish your mum used to cook for you? What meal didn’t you like at all? The same. Apparently, my favorite is spinach and then it became my least favorite.  I have drawings from then that say NO SPINACH scrawled across them. According to my mom the change is based on a sudden awareness of color on my part. Other favorites: spicy food, vinegar, candy, brie, pate, peanut butter and jelly, and steak.

What was your favorite book? I have a lot of favorites: Madeline. Good Night Moon. The Ox Cart Man.

Did you have an imaginary friend? A ton. Joey and Smookey (he wear glasses) are my best friends. There are loads of them. I even have an imaginary enemy – Monica. She is awful.
