PETIT DESIGN

A cooking book to play with blankies,  parents, friends, the birds in the garden, the neighbor’s kitty or the dog you are dreaming of... An original cookbook so that grown-ups can make poetic recipes as if they were kids.

Four chapters, four seasons: you reach one month after the other to cook in accordance with Nature. Sometimes it is about tiny food to share with your blanky, sometimes it is much bigger, such as a meal for a whole family on a Sunday...

Thanks Pirouette!

"I was extremely happy to hear about Kidsroomzoom as the "Salone del Mobile" in Milan was really lacking children's furniture, especially the last edition. A part from Perludi and unduetrestella, there was hardly anything, so this is a huge step forward. It is really good to witness that more and more visibility is given to children's furniture, the December 2010 Pierre Berge & Associates auction being one of the best examples. I am always looking for innovative and beautifully designed products to feature on Pirouette, a blog I started a little bit over a year ago and that covers areas such as fashion, design, events, books and more. I remember receiving lots of comments after I wrote an article on "Booktree" by Kostas Syrtariotis in September 2010. Kidsroomszoom brings a fresh approach to children's design and I can't wait to visit Milan in April for another edition of the Furniture Fair" Florence Rolando

A FUNNY STORAGE TOWER

ALERCE stackable toy boxes by NONAH!, they can be used to pack away cars, teddies, dollies, shoes, or to turn over to sit on it, or as a little table or a mini house... They can be stacked up like a totem!

BRUNO HOW OLD R U?

BRUNO SAVOLDELLI - NONAH!, designer

How was your cot when you were a Baby? How was your bed when you were a child? When I arrived, third child and last but I didn't know that yet, my mum used our family cradle for me. It was made of dark wood, with a very traditional design.  Now, I am using a little family bed (again !) made of rattan, and the way the canes were crossed  structured little windows I love to peep through.

Which was your favorite dish your mum used to cook for you? What meal didn’t you like at all? My mum uses to cook quite regularly a French baked potato dish called “gratin Dauphinois”. Simply delicious. But she sometimes finds some salsify vegetables on the market. Unbearable !

What was your favourite book “The wonderful adventures of Nils Holgersson” by Selma Lagerlof. I love the adventures of this child on the back of a wild goose and the large Swedish spaces he discovers during his travelling.

Did you have an imaginary friend? No, I already have 1 brother and 1 sister, and that was plenty enough company !
