87.Pitti Immagine Bimbo hosts unduetrestella DESIGN WEEK and its selection of newness from all over the world. Since 2013 Pitti Bimbo invites unduetrestella to show a little and precious selection of original and interesting Italian and international brands.

With its format unduetrestella point the attention to the most important italian event dedicated to design since years, the internationally and prestigious Salone del Mobile, by dedicating a special week to design and art projects for kids. 

Art, design and creativity are the key players of unduetrestella DESIGN WEEK, unduetrestella deeply perseveres to create and show the most interesting design ways and creatives solutions to live and grow with kids, but first of all to be kids. The idea is to show different solutions, different “spaces for kids” cohoperating with brands, companies, designers, artists and creative people involved in kids universe. Unduetrestella is still continuing its research and scouting itinerary into an internationally context to include and shed light on the most particular and interesting projects oriented to the kids world.

During this unduetrestella DESIGN WEEK’s exhibition, hosted in the KidZ FIZZ area (Archivi, stand 99) we are happy to talk and present projects and companies that interpret design not only as an esthetic but also a functional solution to grow.

With unduetrestella DESIGN WEEK there are: 

Albero Bambino is an Italian brand: wood, design, innovative materials, craft and industrial capabilities all made in Italy are its characteristics. The company, winner of the European Product Desing Award and the Family Choice Awards, presents the four years baby bed designed by Massimiliano Crescioli. 

Aleta kids is a Spanish brand who design timeless and fun toys for children and because of them. It says that play is essential to learn, to grow, to be happy. 

Eperfa is a new hungarian brand. The two places of Hungary where it makes toys are full of tales: the hills around Budapest and about Lake Balaton. Its toys are inspired by the fauna and flora of these two places. It makes toys about what means story in itself to it, as these recall its childhood memories and it retells them now to its own children. 

Fabulous Goose, is a Scandinavian company that offers luxurious design-led products for the modern home and for all the family. Its products are built to last, made of the highest quality and manufactured in Europe. Fabulous Goose presents the latest collection of blankets for baby and kids with a sophisticated design that takes inspiration from Nordic animals and their natural habitat.

Lapin & Me, is a British brand that presents its latest newness: the Lost Toys to collect, feeding sets produced in collaboration with the Australian illustrator Emma Labattaglia, and their Baby Lapin Lamps inspired by early plastic games from 1940s. 

Lilipinso creations instill a unique essence to beautiful decorative themes, which will inspire and seduce children and their families. Their catalogues present a variety of styles and motifs in order to offer fresh and beautiful designs, always careful to sensitize kids to the art world. 

Linea MammaBaby, is brand new range of cleansing and cosmetic products created specifically for kids but perfect for adults, too. For this occasion it is going to present its new campaign and its new products against lice and mosquito bites, recreating a real greenhouse of plants and flowers. It will be launched the brand new solar water spray for the summer: a new character, a starfish named Simoncina. 

Maké Maké is a dwarf planet discoverd in 2005, but it is also a poetical French brand. It offers playful flat-pack and self assembly children’s furniture, without nails or glue. It creates hybrid, figurative or abstract objects, with their sometimes indefinite function, makémaké’s furniture gives free rein to your imagination and stimulates your child’s creativity. 

Minina presents some samples from the new S/S 2019 collection of its clothing line for girls (3-12 years) inspired by flowers and movement. Great attention to details and materials are used. This new collection offers a range of fresh and summery colors, with a new style. 

Mokulock is a Japanese company that reinvents the iconic Lego bricks by using different types of wood: the Japanese Maple tree with its vivid pink color, the Japanese Zelkova with its golden color, Japanese Bigleaf Magnolia and its dark green and calm white colors, Birch and Cherry with their brilliance. 

Ooh Noo designs and creates products with a special approach to living: simple, elegant, natural. It combine high-quality materials, playful shapes and unexpected patterns to create toys, bedding and home accessories to bring joy to your family and enhance your life and home. 

PLAYin CHOC is a new chocolatier and toy company from Great Britain, with a social purpose. It aims to delight children with delicious organic bean to bar chocolate, and inspire them with beautifully designed self assembly toys made from recycled cardboard. Its toys come with fun facts educational cards. Use no plastic in its products, its chocolate is wrapped in home compostable film. Its first series is 18 endangered animals to collect and learn about. 

Puella by Barbara Barbantini, founder and designer, leads an artistic research that interacts with her experience in the world of fashion to create personal interpretations of a dreamy adolescent and dark sides femininity that characterize it. The materials of choice are vintage jewellery, vintage fabrics, embroidered, objet trouvé, medallions with old photographs. 

Sunnylife, directly from Australia, was founded in 2003, ans it is the world’s leading Summer lifestyle brand, designed to service and enhance the best parts of life under the sun. Conceived on the beaches of Sydney, the brand was established with a simple goal: to share Australia’s authentic summer style with the rest of the world. 

SuperPetit is a French brand which offers a range of fun, practical accessories for everyday use by boys and girls, designed to spark their imaginations every time they are used. A collection that excites children’s mealtimes with tactile, creative and useful tableware for the smallest to the biggest kids of all ages : dinnerware, lunch box and snack bag, pouch, and table mat sets with washable pens. 

Up!Warsaw is a small, family-run design studio and workshop which creates handmade, ecological furniture for children’s rooms. It takes the magical world of its own childhood into the rooms of today’s children. Its motto: playing, design and function connected turns into fantasy and adventure for the kids.
