PINOCCHIO BY GIACOMO MOOR

Look, that’s Pinocchio!
Here you are the sugar bowl evoking Pinocchio’s face and hat designed by Giacomo Moor for ADI Design Museum’s exhibition “Carissimo Pinocchio” curated by Giulio Iacchetti, on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of the first edition of the book “Le Avventure di Pinocchio” by Carlo Collodi.
It is composed of two overlapping solids, a sphere and a cone, and it is an object where a semicircular slot accommodates a spoon that, once the container is closed, becomes Pinocchio’s nose.
You can find it at ADI Design Museum until 02/04/24, among the selection of projects dedicated to the icon that has inspired generations of creatives and thinkers.
