PICCOLI RAZIONALISTI AT THE ASILO SANT'ELIA

As part of the Lake Como Design Festival 2025, opening on September 14, visitors will have the rare opportunity to explore the iconic Asilo Sant’Elia in Como, a masterpiece of Italian Rationalist architecture designed by Giuseppe Terragni between 1935 and 1937. This historic building will host a special video installation of Piccoli Razionalisti curated by Wonderlake Como in collaboration with the Accademia dei Piccoli Artisti.
The project involved over 1,400 primary school students from Como and its province during the 2024/25 school year, guiding them through a creative exploration of Rationalist landmarks across the region. The initiative now continues with a new chapter: Città Razionalista. This expanded program aims to engage over 2,500 citizens of all ages through tailored educational activities and guided visits to key examples of Larian Rationalism. Don’t miss this inspiring fusion of architecture, education, and community at Asilo Sant’Elia, one of the cultural highlights of Lake Como Design Festival 2025.
