We present SURICATA (2025), the compact all-in-one desk and stool inspired by the alert posture of the meerkat. Designed by Inma Bermúdez and Moritz Krefter, it combines simple geometric shapes, stability, and versatility to encourage active sitting. Perfect for classrooms, offices, co-working spaces, and hospitality, SURICATA adapts easily to individual or collaborative layouts. A discreet hook under the top keeps bags organised, while the birch veneer — enhanced with a special watercolour-like finish — makes each piece unique.
