Created by designer Anne Ländle, Green Edge explores how overlooked natural resources can become the materials of tomorrow. The project combines grass clippings collected from ecologically valuable roadside areas with wood waste from CNC milling to develop a new bio-based material for furniture production.
More than a material experiment, Green Edge is a reflection on circular design, local resources and sustainable manufacturing. The resulting furniture piece celebrates the beauty of its raw ingredients while demonstrating how waste can be reimagined as a valuable resource for contemporary design.
A thoughtful project that invites us to rethink not only what furniture is made of, but also where its materials come from.
