GRETHE SIVERTSEN, designer Grethe184How is your bed? My bed is a place where I fall asleep quickly, there's a lion under it. He's always ready to take my legs, so I have to leap far out on the floor when I get out of bed. Which kind of meal you do not like? Marzipan and sweet cakes make me sick, uuugh! Favorite? My mother's meatballs, eating crab outdoors (especially the brown food in the shell, which looks terrible) and I love all food with lots of flavor... mmm Your favorite book to read? The Norwegian folk fairytales, which often have bad endings, like the pancake that was eaten by the pig... Have you got an imaginary friend? I have that lion under my bed, and a crocodile under the stairs. They haven't eaten me yet, but I wouldn't call them friends..

My favourite meal is pasta with tomato sauce! Your favourite book to read? My fauvorite book is “NeverEnding Story” by Micheal Ende. Have you got an imaginary friend? No i haven’y but i wuuld like to have one!

And your favourite? Pasta, pasta and pasta. Your favourite book to read? “Le filastrocche” by Richard Scarry. Have you got an imaginary friend? I’m an only child, so I have many, sometimes too many! They come, the go... But we have a lot of fun together, especially during never-ending summer vacations

TOBIAS GUTMANN, illustrator, storyteller, artist and sometimes a graphic designer but mostly a nice guy -1How is your bed? It is like a nice white cloud in the blue sky, where I hide when I am tired. Once I am in it, dreams become true. Which kind of meal you do not like? I don't like jelly beans and fennel or when I bite in a guava fruit and realize it is rotten and full of worms. Which is your favorite book? I like the book with the colorful fish, the corals an the shells. The lion-fish is my favorite. I have seen a real baby lion-fish swimming fifty centimeters  close to me. I was scared, but he was friendly. Have you got an imaginary friend? The lion-fish, The purple butterfly and the crocodile under my bed, but that is not really a friend.

JULIA KAUPITWA, designer Julia 5 yearsHow is your bed?My bed is a bunk bed which I share with my sister. She sleeps upstairs and I sleep downstairs. I like to close the curtains around the bed so I feel comfortable and protected. Which meal you do not like?I hate to eat asparagus. Even the smell of cooked asparagus makes me feel bad. And your favourite? My favorite meal is pasta with tomato sauce and a lot of cheese. Which is your favourite book? I don't read but I love to listen to the stories of two little mice my father invents. Have you gon an imaginary friend? I love to use my imagination but I don't have an imaginary friend.

JUNKO NAKAMURA, illustrator Yunko NakamuraHow is your bed? I sleep on a FUTON,  a japanese bedding.  It smells very good after drying under the sun. Which kind of meal you do not like? I don't like carrots, because they taste sweet and bitter at the same time. And your favourite? My favorite is DAGASHI, very cheap junk sweet. Your favorite book to read? “The Little House” by Virginia Lee Burton, “Guri and Gura” by R. Nakagawa and Y. Yamawaki. Have you got an imaginary friend? Not really, but I often imagine that objects like bowl or ORIGAMI have a personality.

TAKASHI IWASAKI, artist TAKASHIHow is your bed? I don't have a bed, but I have a huton (pronounced like "hoo-tong"). It's cozy. It's thin, flat, and you can fold it up. When I'm sleepy, my mom puts it open on the floor, and I sleep on it; and then when I wake up, my mom folds it up and puts it away in the closet. It's very Japanese. Which kind of meal you do not like? I don't like asparagus. I don't like wasabi either. I think I can eat them when I grow up. And your favourite? I love curry and ramen. Your favorite book to read? "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." I like the holes in the book. It's a funny book. I like "Everyone Poops," too. It's a funny book, too. I like funny books. Have you got an imaginary friend? Yes! Many friends. They look like people, but have wings and can fly. They live in villages in clouds in the sky. I sometimes visit them on balloons. They like shiny stuff, like sparkles.
