The Forêt Forêt workshop by the Korean studio Mau Haus explores creativity through nature, imagination, and hands-on making. Conceived as a collaborative program, the workshop invites children and participants to engage with natural forms and transform them into playful objects and spatial ideas.
Inspired by forests, organic shapes, and tactile materials, the activity encourages participants to observe, draw, and build using simple elements. The process turns creativity into a collective experience where experimentation and storytelling become part of the design journey.
More than a workshop, Forêt Forêt reflects Mau Haus’s approach to design as an educational and collaborative practice—where making, learning, and imagination come together.
PALMA: PLAYFUL SEATING BY KUSHEDA MENSAH
The Palma collection by Kusheda Mensah reimagines seating as a social and sculptural experience. Designed for the Scandinavian brand Hem, the series features soft, organic poufs inspired by natural forms and the human body.
Made of three modular shapes, Palma seats are designed to encourage people to gather, sit close, and interact. Their rounded forms invite different ways of sitting—perching, lounging, or leaning—turning furniture into a catalyst for conversation and connection. Upholstered in rich textiles such as bouclé, Kvadrat fabrics, or leather, each piece balances tactile comfort with bold visual presence. Whether used individually or combined into larger compositions, the poufs act as both seating and playful sculptural elements within a space.
With Palma, Mensah explores how design can shape human interaction—transforming furniture from a passive object into an invitation to gather, connect, and share space.

INSERTI BY CHIARA LIONELLO
The project Inserti by Italian designer Chiara Lionello reimagines the traditional flower vase as a small interactive architecture. The collection combines two elements: a handcrafted ceramic vase that holds water and a linear bar in anodized aluminum designed to support a delicate floral composition. Together, they create an object that invites participation and creativity.
Rather than simply holding flowers, Inserti encourages a daily gesture of composition. The perforated aluminum bar allows stems to be arranged in multiple ways, transforming the vase into a space for experimentation where each arrangement becomes unique.
The project also explores the dialogue between craftsmanship and industry. The ceramic bases are handmade by a family of Milanese ceramists, preserving small imperfections that reveal the artisanal process, while the aluminum elements—cut and treated from construction materials—introduce precision and structure.
Minimal yet poetic, Inserti turns a simple object into an invitation to slow down and practice everyday beauty through flowers, composition, and design.

CHAIR FOR KIDS BY TAEKHAN YUN
What happens when children design their own furniture? The participatory project Chair for Kids by designer Taekhan Yun shows how imagination can become real, functional design. Developed with students from an English school in Siem Reap, Cambodia, the project transforms children’s playful sketches into colorful handmade chairs.
The process started with a simple exercise: each child was asked to draw a chair. These drawings became the starting point for exploring shape, balance, and function. The students then measured their own bodies to understand scale and ergonomics, learning how proportions influence comfort and design.
To bring their ideas into three dimensions, the children created clay prototypes based on their sketches. These models guided the construction of the final chairs. In the final stage, the children colored the furniture themselves, turning each piece into a personal expression of creativity.
More than a simple design experiment, Chair for Kids is a lesson in creativity, collaboration, and confidence. By involving children in every step—from drawing to making—the project demonstrates how design can become a powerful educational tool, empowering young minds to imagine, build, and shape the world around them.

ANA SILVA: EAU AT GAMeC
We highlight Eau, the first solo exhibition in an Italian institution by Angolan–Portuguese artist Ana Silva. Curated under the direction of Lorenzo Giusti, the show is part of GAMeC’s 2026 program Pedagogy of Hope, inspired by educator Paulo Freire.
Through textile works and embroidery, Silva addresses one of today’s most urgent global issues: access to water. Collaborating with local female embroiderers, she transforms industrial fabrics and reclaimed materials into powerful narratives of memory, sustainability, and social justice.
Blending ecology, craft, and sociocultural critique, Eau redefines textile practice as a gesture of resistance—where every stitch becomes both protest and care.

THE CURE (HEAVENLY PIE(A)CES) BY RICHARD YASMINE
THE CURE (HEAVENLY PIE(A)CES) is an immersive conceptual installation by Richard Yasmine exploring healing as a continuous, introspective process rather than a final destination. Conceived as a ritual space, the project reflects on unseen emotional wounds and the quiet act of self-forgiveness. Rendered in hypnotic white-on-white compositions, the installation transforms white into a symbol of potential, purity, and rebirth—creating a contemplative sanctuary where time becomes both witness and healer. Three sculptural elements define the journey: a headstone-shaped armchair evoking mortality and renewal, a pendulum clock symbolizing the cyclical nature of time, and a halo-like wall light representing inner luminosity. Crafted from white powder-coated aluminum, brass, neo-cement, suede, Carrara marble, and delicate embroidery, THE CURE merges the sacred and the architectural into a serene, immersive experience.
