MAO, HOW OLD R U?

MAO FUSINA, he studied architecture but he doesn’t work as an architect. He projects creative itineraries for children with industrial waste materials. How is your bed? My bed is up, Momo sleeps down, I am older and I sleep up. My bed is now red but, before that dad had bulit the ping pong table, it was white. the wooollen blankets are a bit bristly . Mum have bought a strange thing from Swisserland that help to link the blankets under the mattress: in this way they cannot move during the night!

What do you like to eat? And what do not like? I do not like biled carrots, the leaver (that mum wants sometimes give me to eat) and the sea sand. I love the meat from Dogliani and the well cooked breaded veal cutlet. I also like the round suger candies very much.

What’s your favourite book? I do not read books so much. I watch pictures and I am not interested in books without images. I read Topolino very much because there are many images that helps to understand stories instead of many words. I like the images and books regarding animals.

 Have you go an imaginary fiend? I have not any imaginary friends but I often act to be someone else.

How is your bed? it has lots of very very small coloured dots. 

Which kind of meal you do not like? and your favourite? I don’t like fish and meat that is to chewy. I like Pasta with tomato sauce.

Your favorite book to read? Le bellissime avventure di Caterí dalla Trecciolina e altre storie

Have you got an imaginary friend? My doll. It is called Bibo. It has a soft body and a plastic head, I cannot sleep without Bibo.

BARBARA, HOW OLD R U?

Barbara Barbantini, designer (Puella and Stella stellina)  How is your bed? A small bed covered with colorful flowers. In front of me, the poster of Cheshire cat!

Which kind of meal you do not like? and your favourite? I like the "cappelletti" of my grandmother Teresa, she's from Reggio Emilia and she is a great cook. I don't like fish.

Your favorite book to read? Alice in Wonderland of course!

Have you got an imaginary friend? My brother and I have had many many imaginary friends. We have even written a book dedicated to them! (Il mio amico immaginario, edizioni Artebambini, 2010)

LIVIA HOW OLD ARE YOU?

Livia Rossi, Livialein  How is your bed? My bed is of wood and is yellow. My little sister has the same one. We have also the same duvet. Red on one side, and red with white leaves on the other.

Which kind of meal you do not like? and your favorite? My mum doesn’t know how to cook. So I don’t like to eat food in general. It’s so boring to sit for so long around the table. Liver it’s really disgusting. I like semolina. And desserts.

Your favorite book to read? I like a book mum and I chose together in the bookshop. Aesop’s fables. There are beautiful animals drawings. They are like paper cut outs.

Have you got an imaginary friend? I have many. The dishwasher, the teacups, the armchair, the scissors… everything in the house. They are all my friends and speak to me.

Do you sleep with someone – something with? I am not allowed to sleep with any furry toys. Dad says it’s not good for me. Morbidone is the only one that I can sleep with. He is a pink fabric teddy bear. He comes from Germany. On the front of his dress it’s written: “Du bist super”. “You are super” in German.

IRIS HOW OLD ARE YOU?

Iris Kästner, Kwirl  How is your cot (baby bed)? How is your bed?  So-so: it’s a really old bed. I think, it’s about 15 years old. My elderly sisters & brothers slept already there. To be honest: I like to sleep everywhere except my bed. That always rocks the boat.

What is your favorite dish? Which kind of meal do you not like?  I’m hooked on wood strawberries, I hate spinach (What a surprise!).

What is your favorite book? Frederick (the mouse) by Leo Lionni

Do you have an imaginary friend? No, but I like James’ best friend, Harvey
